Grupo Éxito and its banners dominated the Retail Colombia awards ceremony, an annual ceremony organized by America Retail, a media specialized in Latin American retail. Among others, Grupo Éxito won the awards for best banner in Colombia and for best omnichannel strategy with Almacenes Éxito. Grupo Éxito also stood out for its responsible commitments.
The winners of the Retail Colombia Awards were nominated by a committee of independent experts specialized in Latin American retail. Several awards were granted: best banner, best omnichannel strategy, most innovative banner, most responsible banner, best e-commerce strategy…
As an historical banner in Colombia, Almacenes Éxito set itself apart by winning the prize for best banner in the country, as well as best omnichannel strategy. Almacenes Éxito also came second as most innovative banner, ahead of Carulla, another of Grupo Éxito’s banners which also ranked second among the best banners in the country.
And in the most “responsible” retail players category, Grupo Éxito came second behind a shopping center administrator.
